For months, public employees have been under attack as Gov. Snyder and his political allies attempt to exploit Michigan’s economic crises to take away retiree pensions, retiree health care and limit benefits on the job. We are being unfairly blamed for budget shortfalls and recent votes to slash K-12 schools by $500 million and impose $330 million in new taxes on seniors’ pensions has gone too far. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Please join with MCO and coalition partners from across the state this Tuesday, July 19th from 1:00p.m. – 4:00p.m. on the corner of M-80 (Tone Road) & Watertower Drive in Kincheloe, MI.

Whether you’re heading in or just getting off shift, we need everyone to stand proudly and tell these politicians “We Are the People” and the road to economic recovery includes more than just the rich. We need to invest in our communities, our local education and prepare our children for the jobs of the 21st century. Your turnout is critical, so please grab a family member or friend and join us in this important cause. WE NEED YOU!
