As a member of MCO, your children are eligible for college scholarships through Union Plus, SEIU and MCO. Each group has their own application process and timetable, as laid out below. Please watch for updates when the new applications are available each year and get your submissions in before the deadline.
Union Plus Scholarship Program
Apply online for the 2013 Union Plus Scholarship. Deadline to apply: Noon on January 31, 2013. This application is entirely online and allows students to save their responses and complete their application over time. Scholarships amounts range from $500 to $4,000.
Since 1992, the Union Plus Scholarship Program has awarded more than $3.2 million to students of working families who want to begin or continue their post-secondary education. The Union Plus Scholarship Program is offered through the Union Plus Education Foundation.

SEIU 2012-13 Scholarships
Unions help working families fulfill their dreams in many different ways. At SEIU, this includes yearly college scholarship opportunities. Deadline to apply: midnight on March 1, 2013.
SEIU awards several types of scholarships to enable SEIU members and their children to pursue their educational goals at colleges, universities, labor study programs and technical schools.

MCO Scholarships
MCO offers 20 scholarships of $750 each to children of MCO members entering (or in) college. Print and complete the Scholarship Application, and then mail it with supporting documents. Deadline to apply: June 1, 2013.
