Macomb Officer Clarence Hammond III, 33, was shot and killed early Saturday morning, January 14, 2012, outside his home.  Clarence leaves behind two boys, Shiloh (5) and Chance (4).

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and his MCO brothers and sisters at Macomb and around the state.

Hammond had clocked out at Macomb at 10 p.m. Friday night and was shot near midnight while still in uniform.  Police have released a sketch and are looking for a suspect in the homicide.
