Wayne State University is now offering a criminal justice master’s degree program entirely online.
The degree was designed to be flexible for corrections officers and others in law enforcement, who often work odd hours or can’t commute to school. All classes are online and can be completed any time day or night.
“For a long time, we’ve dealt with the working student” who may not have lots of time or flexibility, said Dr. James Geistman, facilitator of the online program.
Wayne State also offers the classes at its Detroit campus.
The 32-hour degree can be completed in as little as five semesters. Priority registration beings Nov. 3 for the winter 2015 semester, which starts in January 2015.
