MCO Report brings home awards for photos, writing

The MCO Report received five awards at the Michigan Labor Press conference May 14-17, 2015.

The MCO Report won:

• First Place for photographic excellence. (The winning photo in the Winter 2014 edition is at right. It shows members protesting unfair contracts.)

• First Place for best photographic collage. (Winter 2014 cover.)

• Second Place for best website.

• Third place for best editorial. (“Presidential Ponderings,” Spring 2014 edition, page 7.)

• Third place for best news article (“Recent bargaining shows state undervalues employees,” Winter 2014).
