Michigan Corrections Organization is proud to announce our involvement with the National Medal of Honor Foundation. This foundation honors corrections officers nationwide for the job they do.
The heroes who walk among us every day are rarely if ever recognized in the manner other law enforcement officers are. It is long overdue that our profession be recognized as an elite component of the law enforcement community. The National Medal of Honor Awards are a vehicle that shines a spotlight on the amazing jobs Correctional Officers do.
