DRF 12-Hour/8-Hour Hybrid Shift Petition Results

DRF members,

The petition of interest for having a vote on the 12 hr / 8 hr shifts has already received enough signatures this morning to successfully pass. No more signatures are required and we will not need to be there at the 3 pm shift change. The minimum number needed was 138 and we already have 141 verified signatures.

We will now move forward with preparing the info to hold the pre-vote meetings so everyone can see what the new schedule will look like, how many officers will be assigned to each shift, etc.

As soon as the info is prepared, meetings will be scheduled at the facility followed immediately by the scheduling of the official vote.
